The film begins with a history of medicinal drug manufacturing and the “How did we get here?”question arises. When and why were such powerful pharmaceutical drugs created? Where did we get off track and how did this happen to so many individuals?  Medical professionals and other experts explain how these chemicals affect the brain and its’ neuro pathways, real life stories are told by people of varied backgrounds and ages, whose “normal” lives and loved ones’ lives are now tortured by addiction.
